According to Box Butte County Treasurer Kim Burke-Smith they are reminding residents that the second half of the 2015 real estate taxes and personal property taxes are due by August 31. Avoid delinquent interest charges by paying property tax bills on or before August 31.
You can also avoid long lines at the Treasurer’s Office by mailing tax receipts with a check to PO Box 655, Alliance, Ne 69301, postmarked by August 31. Office hours are 8am-4pm Monday through Friday.
