GERING, NE – The Nebraska Eclipse Coalition, an organization formed by 10 community tourism organizations across the state of Nebraska, will hold a news conference on Tuesday, October 18 at 3:30 pm MDT, in the Lobby of the Gering Civic Center, 1050 M Street, Gering.
The group will announce the goal of featuring Nebraska as a top travel destination for the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse. Experts have named Nebraska one of the best locations to view the “once-in-a-lifetime” event with the path of the eclipse running diagonally across the entire state on August 21, 2017.
