ALLIANCE, Neb. (AP) — The Alliance Times-Herald has announced it will move from daily to biweekly publication next month.
The newspaper’s director of operations, Kyle Cummings, issued the announcement on the front page of the Oct. 20 edition, saying the move is intended to help the publication build its online presence.
Cummings says beginning Nov. 2, the Times-Herald will be mailed to subscribers each Wednesday and Saturday.
Each edition will include two sections — local news and local sports. He says the layout will also be redesigned to “be more modern and clean, with a more emphasis on local coverage.”
The newspaper, owned by Alliance Publishing Company, has a circulation of about 1,500.
