Around 9am on Thursday Panhandle Post was on scene of a very serious car accident located at West 16th and Emerson. It apparently looks as if a car drove up onto guide wires of an electrical pole. Alliance Police Officer Charlana Hjersman told Panhandle Post that the city of Alliance electric crews are assisting with power issues as this time. The area is blocked off. We will have more information as this accident develops.
