The Alliance City Council met Tuesday night at 7pm and introduced a new Alliance Public Safety Dispatcher Madisen Morrison. Council also approved a request for a petition for the Bomgaars annexation from Next Generation Properties of Nebraska. This property is located at the southwest corner of the intersection of West 3rd Street, Country Club Road, and U.S. Highway 385.
There was a street closure request from Box Butte Development Corporation with Holly Heath for Bands on the Bricks, which will begin on July 14th. There were also a number of resolutions including a TSA lease, Motocross lease, and Alliance airport haying lease. Along with the airport haying lease was a resolution for a consultant agreement with M.C. Schaff and Associates for engineering services on the rehabilitation of runway 8/26.
