According to Mickey Aruffo with Just Neighbors, they were made aware of a very tragic situation last night. A 20 year old Haley Whitsett was thrown from a horse on May 9th and was rushed to Scottsbluff Hospital. She has been in the ICU since then. Her parents and husband have been staying there with her. She also has a young child. The funds have run out for the family and they will be with out a place to stay. We are asking for monetary donations to help these folks stay with her; we feel that it important that her family be there. We are not asking for food, Just Neighbors has plenty of food to take to the family, but, our funds have dried up. Gene is making a trip to Scottsbluff this afternoon to take the food to the family around 1:30 when he is done with the “school runs”. If you would like to donate, you can drop off your donation at 418 Missouri or call Gene at 762-5454 or 760-2146 and he will be glad to pick it up. Please try to get it to us before he leaves for Scottsbluff.
