HERMOSA, S.D. (AP) – The southwestern South Dakota town of Hermosa is cleaning up storm damage that might have been caused by a tornado.
National Weather Service reports show the apparent tornado hit about 4:30 p.m. Monday, causing structural damage to several homes.
American Red Cross Regional Executive Director Richard Smith tells says that the damage is mainly to home roofs and trailers. He’s not aware of any injuries.
About 400 people live in the town south of Rapid City.
