According to Chief Deputy J.D. Sutphen of the Box Butte County Sheriff’s Office, on Monday afternoon there was a vehicle accident three miles east of Alliance on Otoe Road. Deputy Sutphen said the “vehilce ran off the road way, came back up on the road, lost control by over correcting, slid back into the ditch, and rolled.” The Box Butte County Sheriff’s Office says five people were involved in the crash, and all were transported to Box Butte General Hospital. Seat belts were not in use at the time of the crash and alcohol is not a factor. They have not released any names at this time.
