According to Chief Deputy J.D. Sutphen of the Box Butte County Sheriff’s Office, on Monday afternoon at 3:27pm there was a vehicle accident three miles east of Alliance on Otoe Road near County Road 57. Deputy Sutphen said a blue 1994 Chevrolet Suburban driven by 51 year old Jane A. Sherlock of Alliance “ ran off the road way, came back up on the road, lost control by over correcting, slid back into the south ditch, and rolled.” The Box Butte County Sheriff’s Office says five occupants were transported to Box Butte General Hospital. 51 year old Jane A. Sherlock, 25 year old Sasha A. Sherlock, 23 year old Kevin L. Sherlock, 31 year old Amanda Sherlock and 30 year old Nikole Sherlock were transported to Box Butte General Hospital with various injuries. Seat belts were not in use at the time of the crash and alcohol is not a factor.
